Question: My father is retired military and get VA benefits. Do you loose benefits if u go in to rest home.?
Dad has end stages of emphysema and dr's are recommending a rest home. My mother is concerned that she would loose his VA benefits. Will she? I know their champus would pay for rest home but she is concerned she would loose his benefits. She get survivor benefits for after he dies but nothing now just what my dad gets for his diability. Anyone have anything to offer?
he 100 percent disabled and dr's want to put him in a rest home for a short time (to be rehabilitated). What my mom would like to know is would my dad loose his VA monthly payments if he goes in there for that time. Champus is going to pay for his entire stay at the rest home but my mother is concerned they would revoke his benenfits while he is in the rest home. Anybody know if they would revoke his monthly checks he gets for the VA?
