Question: Ever lived in a "Staged Home"?

Does anyone have experience as a home manager? A home manager is someone that lives in a staged home that is for sale. They rent it out monthly with their own furniture and when it is sold they move out into another staged home. I'm thinking about doing it, but I have questions. Like what is the pet policy if you have a dog that can stay strictly outside? Also guest policy, like can you have family spend the night? And cleanliness? I keep a pretty clean house but do I have to be careful with everything that its uncomfortable living in the house? I saw a website about it Austinhomestaging.com.

Answer: Mandy, all these policies will depends on the owner of the home and what they want. Some allow pets, some don't.

As long as your guests don't clutter up the place, I can't imagine that they would have cause to disallow overnight guests. Again, as long as the home is kept in 'show' form.

The house is generally required to be spotless. If you are not a good housekeeper, find the money to hire one weekly. If you are messy, don't pick up after yourself, or are cluttered, then it simply won't workout.
