Question: is this worth missing?
i was married to a guy and the following happened
1. he gambled my money regularily
2. sold my car for $400 and gambled it
3. staged a break and enter at his work, gambled the profits and lost his job, meaning he could not support me and our kids
4. allowed his mother to call me every name under the sun, did not defend me
5. lied to me constantly
6. was irresponsible with our finances, and never contributed to the kids
7. always put his band first. went out to gig when i bought our preemie baby home from hospital. the band cost money, not made it
8.made fun of my religion and beliefs
9. did not make an effort with my family
10. slept late into the morning instead of getting up and helping me with the babies
11. constantly lost his licence due to speeding and driving whilst suspended.
12. smoked drugs behind my back
am i crazy to miss this? would u take a guy like this back when nothing has changed?
Answer: Love is love, and it's worth trying to make it work if you have a few problems in your relationship- but in my opinion, you shouldn't even try with this guy. You just gave 12 reasons why you guys shouldn't be in a relationship. Don't you think that's enough to say it's not going to work out? I don't even know where to begin with how wrong this guy is. Your kids should always be first. And I think you and your kids would be much happier not having a male figure in the picture rather then having to deal with someone like that. Reread what you just wrote- this is not something you should even consider- really. I'm not trying to be negative, because I know that you can't help when you love someone, but this guy just isn't worth it. I hope I helped.
