Question: Is there any hope for my father.?
My father(76) has severe narrowing of the aortic valve and has vascular problems all over his body. He has slight vascular dementia. The surgeons will not operate as it is too risky . He had a bypass op 25yers ago . He had a heart attack again 4 months ago they just changed his medication and sent him home. He since was told he has a bladder tumor. They were due to operate on Friday to re sect and stage the tumor but he didn't stop his plavix for 5 days before the op only 4 so they refused to operate and re scheduled for 2 weeks. He was sent home and later that day took another heart attack. He is now in the coronary care unit and we have been told his bladder resection will now not go ahead until he is stabilized . Can anyone , any experts please tell me what I can do for my Dad as the consultants will not take any risks is he just to go home and slowly die of his conditions?
Answer: Wel he maybe b able 2 last 2 more years if he wrks on controling each thing that wrong with him such as heart attack-how can it b prevented? That kinda thing i no ur father wil live a great life
