Question: Can you Critique this simple directory website in its revision state?

I’m building a site listing of local websites categorically. I like you to comment on color, layout, simplicity, functionality (Partial) and its domain name. I’ve the home page & a couple of links category. Assume that all other links will work. L&R columns are left for ads.
I need suggestions from people before I populate data and go to alpha, beta and final stages.
The proposed name is EthioSurf.Com. Here is the site.

Answer: Pretty good layout. Perhaps just a bit scanty, could use some sidebars, articles or something else on the home page to keep people interested.

Remember, surfers *SURF*. If there isn't any reason to stop and browse, they move on.

Question: Can i change insurance companies half way through a policy term without a penalty?

I changed my car insurance in March to the company with whom I held my home contents insurance. They have since messed me about with my home contents insurance, which I have cancelled. They have treated my case very badly and I don't want to deal with them anymore and want to cancel my car insurance and move to another company. I paid my premium all in one go in March. Am I likely to lose this money by switching insurance companies at this stage?

Answer: Be careful! Cancellation in the first year can often be subject to "short period rates". Check in your policy booklet as to whether your insurer operates such a scheme. Also, if there has been a claim in the current period of insurance, no refund may be due in the event of cancellation.

Generally speaking it is not worth cancelling a policy mid-term. Best to knuckle down and then move it away at renewal - when there will definitely be no penalties.
