Home Staging Cleveland Ohio

Question: Anyone know of any homes around Cleveland, Ohio for a person with Alzheimer's Disease that's decent???
My grandma is kind of in the middle stage where she's not extremely bad but she wanders and I'm hoping to find somewhere that she can go outside with a lot of land that she can still go outside on her own and feel independent... thanks!!
Answer: In the United States there is a network of organizations called Area Agencies on Aging. There is an Area Agency on Aging serving every community in the United States and in U.S. territories. These folks know about different organizations that can help and services available to help in situations like this. They could also provide information and resources that would be very helpful for you as a caregiver to know.
You can call toll-free 1-800-677-1116 to find the contact information for the specific Area Agency on Aging where you live that can help you get the information you need. Call the Area Agency on Aging and ask to speak with the staff person who handles the "Family Caregiver" or "In-Home Care" program. You should tell this person that you are seeking help for your grandma and describe the situation.
Area Agencies on Aging aren't selling any particular service or things like "insurance policies." You will talk with someone who works with seniors and caregivers like you every day and you will get objective and practical information. This person will know what kinds of living options are available and other options that also might be helpful to your grandma and to you..
I hope this helps. Thanks for caring! Best wishes and good luck to you and your grandma!

Home Staging Certification

Question: Home Staging, What do you think?
I have recently been thinking of starting a Home Staging business (the process of designing a home for sale), what do you think? Would you use a Home Staging service if your home was for sale? I have looked online and there are a lot of certification classes that you can take, however they aren't required and they are expensive. Do you think that makes a difference? Does anyone have any helpful advice for someone that wants to get into this business? I'm looking for serious answers please, thank you!
Answer: I would recommend that you do a couple of houses for free, or a very small fee (just have the homeowner pay for the rentals and small items). Then you can photograph them and write up your success stories of how you helped these houses sell. Then you can begin charging a real fee.
