Question: Fostering / Adopting What is the difference?
If a child was taken in by someone they knew, (after a death in the family).
Their carers then assumed all legal responsibility, bring them up etc (all legal and by the book).
Is this fostering / adoption or something else?
Do kids have to at some stage be at a foster home to be fostered?
Pease only answers from people that actually know, thanks.
Answer: fostering tends to be temporary whereas adoption is permanent.
no kids don't have to be in a foster home to be fostered.
