Question: What's a good excuse to leave home for a month?
So let's say I wanted to go and visit some family with a friend of mine, secretly. Stop at a couple concerts, check out some art galleries in the next province over, what would I tell my parents? I could stage going on a trip with a friend's family, etc. What should I say and what would be the exact process in creating a good alibi?
(I'll probably be back in under a month, but I'd like a little extra time just in case it takes longer than I planned. I'll also be fifteen when this happens).

Answer: Don't lie. Be truthful. If you do lie, there is a good possibility your parents are going to find out. Do you really think your parents would let you leave for a month without talking to the family you plan on leaving with first? If, or when, your parents find out, you are surely not going to like the consequences. Just be honest.
It's ok about the category. No one is perfect.
