Question: Confused about when to have a 2nd baby?
I am a full time working mother with a 3 1/2 yr old son...very confused on when to have a 2nd kid.Hubby is very much in favour of going for it right away.
but i had taken a break from my career and joined back when the kid was almist 15mnths old
Now my career seems to be progressing,but i am a kindof person who after a 9hr job at office returns back to home most of the time guilty that i didnt spend enough time with the kid.Right now,my son has defintely adjusted well enough,but i am not sure if i will be able to do justice to two of them and to my career.
I am very comfy with my current job,dont want to take a break,am back to my shape...career and home seems to be moving fine.At this stage ,shud i take a decision which will again bring loads of changes and adjustments to everyone !!!!i am so confused..help !
Answer: Don't have another baby until you both are absolutely positively are on board. I recommend taking it one month at a time. Every month during your period talk about whether or not you want to get pregnant in a "no pressure" kind of way. When you're ready it will give you an easy way to let him know, and until then you don't feel like you constantly have the question of will we/won't we hanging over your head.
